14. Tropical Funky

Acid Ale, apricot color and fruty. Temperatura 6-8ºC.
Mixed styles between acidic beers with fruits and IPAs. Made with local natural apricots and a large amount of hops added after fermentation, they make it an original and very aromatic beer, while in the mouth it is bitter and acidic.

13 PSICOCHERRY FRUIT SOUR ALE

Acid Ale, cherry color, mild and refresh. Temperature 6-8ºC.
Beer made with lactobacillus, brewer’s yeast and fresh cherries from Almacelles. It has a low-medium body with a lactic acidity that makes it very refreshing and drinkable. This acidity combines with the flavour of the cherries, which are slightly acid at the same time as being sweet. The aromas from the lactic fermentation combine on the nose with the aroma of the fruit.

HOP CORN HOPPY CREAM ALE IN COLLABORATION WITH LA CALAVERA.

Pale ale, mild and very refreshing
It is a beer that combines two styles, one creamy ale style made with a high percentage of rolled corn that gives it a crisp, dry characteristic, together with the combination of tones of ale yeast and lager yeast and, at the same time, a combination with the hoppy style that provides a great amount of aromatic hops. It is a pale colour, dry and yet silky and hoppy – very refreshing and easy to drink.

12 TU RAY RYE IPA

Ale with rye, medium-bodied, fruity and alcoholic.
Indian pale ale made with rye, which is a dark copper colour and has a medium body. The aromas and the taste clearly bring to mind pine tree resin with a final touch of pine nuts and tropical fruits, flavours that go very well with the character of rye malt which compensates the bitterness of the hops.

11. Sant Joseph Pale Ale

Blond Ale, half body, mild. Temperatura: 4-8ºC
Pale Ale elaborated with organic own crop ingredients, golden color and low carbonation. In the middle and slightly bitter mid palate that is balanced with the low alcoholic alcohol graduation. Typically summer style although it can be eaten all year round, remove the set.

Fruity, refreshing and easy to drink
An “out of style” beer; despite being highly aromatic with flavours and aromas of tropical fruits typical of an Indian pale ale, is not bitter enough for the style. It has an orangey colour, is fairly cloudy and silky, and more similar to a fruit juice than a beer, a characteristic that comes from the high concentration of oats. It is refreshing and easy to drink.

10 BLACK POWER IMPERIAL STOUT

Black ale, malty with body and alcoholic
An intense stout which is strong, alcoholic, malty and yet hoppy with toasted notes and black and/or dried fruits with a warm finish. Dense head and a lasting dark cinnamon colour. Despite the intense flavours, the components blend together to create a complex yet harmonious beer.

09 CYDÒNIA FRUIT AMERICAN IPA

Amber ale, bitter and fruity, with quince
A recipe from the Can Navarra Beer Club in Girona that they have shared with us. A copper coloured beer with a medium body and aromas and flavours of quince and tropical fruit. A harmonious blend of fruit and beer, the character of the quince is evident but balanced, giving it a rough, dry and citrus touch.

08 HOPPY PILS BOHEMIAN PILSNER

Straw-coloured lager, bitter and dry
A straw-coloured pale ale which is very well integrated, smooth dry and hoppy. A pale, highly attenuated lager without marked flavours of malt which, although usually a well-balanced style, in this case leans towards a hoppy flavour, more bitter in the mouth than is usual for this style. Served cold it is refreshing and thirst quenching.

07 GARIPA AMERICAN WHEAT IPA

Pale wheat ale, floral and bitter
A pale wheat ale which is refreshing and easy to drink, despite having a bitterness of 80 IBUS, as they contrast in the mouth with the wheat malt. The clean fermentation leads to wheaty flavours such as bread and dough which are complemented with the floral and spicy aromas of the hops and a higher bitterness than the typical wheat qualities of European wheat beers.

Pale ale, mild and gluten-free
A pale ale that is suitable for coeliacs (gluten processing), conceived as a moderately malty Belgian ale, which is slightly fruity, easy to drink, amber coloured and not very bitter. The malty character leans towards a biscuity, slightly toasty taste while the hops are moderately floral. License number ES-036-001

04 ANTIGA DARK ALE, MALTY, SWEET AND SMOOTH

Dark ale, malty, sweet and smooth
A dark beer with a medium body, which is creamy, warm and highly complex, despite having a moderate level of alcohol for the style. Leaning towards a malty flavour, with flavours and aromas that bring to mind chocolate, dried fruits and wooden barrels (sherry, port, and so on). A sweet character, not very hoppy, as this has been lost during the ageing of the beer.

German-style pale wheat ale which is organic (certified by the CCPAE). Smooth and easy to drink, very slightly bitter and with a refreshing touch of acidity. Afrutada, refrescante y fácil de beber
It is a beer out of style, although it is very aromatic and presents flavors and aromas of tropical fruits like those of an IPA is too little bitter for the style. Orange, rather turbid and silky, it looks more like a fruit juice than a beer – a characteristic that is given by the high concentration of oats – refreshing and easy to drink.
